About Florida Phone Directory

Phone numbers for Florida live across a dozen different places - the Florida 411 state employee directory, the FLDOE school lookup, 67 sets of county offices, every utility company, every university, plus the area-code lookups maintained by NANPA and the FCC. Tracking down the right number usually means bouncing between websites. We built this site so you can land on the right directory, area-code reference, or hotline without hunting through five other sites first.

Why We Built This Site

Florida publishes phone information across many separate offices. Florida 411 covers state employees and agencies. The Department of Education runs a searchable directory of every public school. University directories expose thousands of faculty and staff. The public library list links every county system. Public-safety lines split between 911, 988, 211, and the statewide hotlines, with 23 area codes layered underneath and dialing rules that change by region. Add 67 counties' worth of clerks, sheriffs, and health departments, plus the FCC and NANPA references for area codes, and the picture gets crowded fast. We pull together the lookup tools, contact methods, and reference data for each of these in one place.
